The history of Mechanica clock kits began 20 years ago. Starting with the introduction of the Mechanica M1 to the present day and the newest model of the Mechanica M5, these DIY clock kits never fail to delight their proud owners every day with a wide variety of equipment.
In response to many suggestions and requests, we now present our latest, limited edition model, the Mechanica M4 -Metallica. The case is of particularly high quality and comes fully assembled.
Each of the 10 pieces proudly displays its individual number on the dial, which also has an hour and minute display from the center, a moon phase display and a cutaway.
The Mechanica M4 Metallica – includes exclusive and new fitting details:
– Moon phase with mother of pearl discs
The addition to a precision pendulum clock with the useful complication of the moon phase is also a visual highlight. The moon shines in full splendor thanks to the shimmering, hand-polished and also domed mother-of-pearl inlays.
– Cutaway in the dial
The cutaway in the seconds sub-dial in conjunction with a milling in the top plate of the movement makes it possible to see the natural-colored anodized plates and the gold-plated gear wheels. The Graham escapement is equipped with a pallet lever with agate pallets. This reduces the escapement friction of the Mechanica M4 Metallica. The scope of delivery includes a gold-plated escapement wheel with an adjusted, complete escapement lever.
– Central hour and minute display
The classic clock face makes it easier to read the time on the Roman dial, considering the additional display.

A further detail to add an elegant appearance to your Mechanica M4 Metallica, are the four case fitting screws with polished and blued center and two polished movement fixing screws.
– Adjustable pendulum scale
The horizontally adjustable pendulum scale is characterised by its attractive appearance and enables the pendulum tip to be set precisely to the ‘0 point’.
– Anti-reflective glasses
These elaborately manufactured panes provide a reflection-free view of the inside of the case.
– Glass window in the top of the case
Incorporating a pane of mineral glass into the top allows a spotlight to illuminate the movement.
