Classica S 70 M
200 YEARS OF HISTORY BROUGHT TO PERFECTION – THE STRIKE TRAIN OF THE CLASSICA S 70 M CAN TRACE ITS ORIGINS BACK TO THE ORIGINAL VIENNA REGULATORS OF THE 19TH CENTURY
The new Classica S 70M is a new member of the regulator pulley clock family and it is an especially charming clock with wonderfully tuneful chimes. Its classic shape is combined with a half-hourly strike train, which can be manually triggered up to the fiftieth minute, thus allowing the previous hour to be repeated. The chime can also be completely silenced if preferred.
Each and every clock from Erwin Sattler is individually and lovingly crafted in the manufacture in Gräfelfing near Munich. Thanks to the high level of quality and durability that characterises the timepieces, they make reliable and attractive lifestyle accessories. In keeping with this, the inner workings of the Classica S 70M are mounted on fourteen jewel bearings and four ball bearings.
Its unique allure is due to its new look, which is dominated by the simple yet elegant case finished in black varnish with delicate metal inlays on the base and rim. This demure regulator is then finished off with a fourtime- fired high-quality enamel dial in a modern Arabic Bauhaus design with two blued steel hands showing the hours and minutes. Its characteristic, timeless appearance – which is also evident from its name – integrates perfectly with its surroundings, whether in classical décor or modern elegance.
