Opus Moon Tourbillon
Opus Moon Tourbillon
A masterpiece - in a limited edition
The tourbillon is the watchmaking specialty par excellence. Only the best manufacturers are able to produce one in house. The Erwin Sattler clock manufactory is proud of its latest design, the Opus Moon Tourbillon, which is made in a limited edition of 66 pieces.
Framed by a polished stainless steel case, the dial is the visual highlight of this exclusive table clock. Polished applied hour-markers and guilloché dial segments around the two funnels, each set with 12 diamonds, catch the viewer's attention, which is then immediately drawn to the rotating minute tourbillon and the hand-painted moon sphere, which takes one lunar cycle to rotate on its own axis.
The 15-day power reserve, which is displayed on a separate scale on the right-hand side of the movement, is a real special feature for a table clock. The achievable accuracy is a result from this long power reserve in conjunction with the tension of the main spring, and the associated portability of the Opus Moon Tourbillon.
Limited and numbered to 66 pieces, this gem is more than just a timepiece - it is a work of art that is destined to become a coveted collector's item in the near future.
